MASTERPLAN LEOPOLD QUARTIER
The grid of the urban planning concept develops out of the urban fabric of the Cartesian housing structure in the southeast. Two landmarks form the gate to the Leopold Quartier on Obere Donaustraße. Wettsteinpark will be integrated into the neighbourhood via the new connection to the forecourt through the gate. The buildings are shielded from street noise. The building ensemble forms a coherent green centre that defines the heart of the new area with its clear entrances.
